Kilfenora is one of Ireland’s most famous music locations and its annual traditional music festival takes place at the end of April showcasing the best traditional music the banner county has to offer!

 

Fr Ted Festival – April 28th – 30th

A Festival of all things Father Ted a crazy hit sitcom from the 1990s.Daytime entertainment and craic for all the family, and night-time entertainment for adults only. The Festival takes place in Lisdoonvarna County Clare.

 

Burren in Bloom – May 19th  – 4th June

Month of May 2017 – the villages of The Burren are the perfect location for discovering the botanical riches of this unique limestone landscape. The month of May reveals an abundance of flowers throughout The Burren, with spring gentians, mountain avens, turlough violets, spring sandworth and a profusion of orchids, among them early purple orchids, bee orchids, spotted orchids. Burren Slow Food Festival 2017 – May 12th – May 14th

A weekend festival celebrating the food and culture of Co. Clare. Markets, demonstrations, BBQs, kids cooking, talks and lots of food and fun for all! From Friday to Sunday you can sample the very best of what Co. Clare has to offer in food and culture. Including indoor and outdoor farmer’s markets, cookery demonstrations by local and well known celebrity chefs, gala dinner, talks and information sessions, “LocalSource” helping you source local foods, exhibitions, food activities for children, BBQs with local produce and a huge variety of other local, artisan and organic foods for sale.

 

Cliffs of Moher Seabirds Festival – May 2017

During the month of May one of Ireland’s most outstanding natural wonders is the host of sea birds of seabirds found nesting at the Cliffs of Moher. Over 60,000 seabirds can be seen at the Cliffs of Moher druring the breading season including Puffins,Guillemots, Razorbills, Kittiwakes and Fulmars nesting at different levels of the cliffs.

 

 

An Post Tour de Burren Cycle Challenge – 17th June 2017

Wille Clancy Summer School – July 1st – 9th 2017

The Willie Clancy Summer School promotes the study, practice and appreciation of Irish traditional music, song and dance. The school was established in 1973 to commemorate the Miltown Malbay uilleann piper, Willie Clancy, and `to promote the study, practice and appreciation of Irish traditional music song and dance.

 

Doolin Craft Beer Festival – August 25th – 27th

The Doolin Irish Craft Beer Festival features Ireland’s best craft beers from micro-breweries around the country, great Irish artisan food, and cracking live bands.The event will showcase the best of Irish Craft Beers, featuring over 30 different beers from the best micro-breweries in Ireland including The Carlow Brewing Company, 8 Degrees Brewing, The Dungarvan Brewing Company, Metalman, Dingle Brewery, The Franciscan Well Brewer
