The Bloody Cranesbill Gastrobar at the Cliffs of Moher Hotel is named after a well-known flower in The Burren.
Our food menu showcases some top quality local produce including Burren lamb and meats; local seafood for our fabulous Chowders and Fish ‘n Chips, and top quality smoked salmons from our neighbours in the now world-famous Burren Smokehouse.
We also incorporate local cheeses in our dishes , most notably the St. Tola Goats Cheese from the Garvey family in Inagh just a few short kilometres away from us.
We have a huge range of premium Irish whiskeys and a selection of craft beers, including O’Hara’s IPA, Connemara Gold from the Independent Brewery in Connemara and of Foxcatcher Red Ale from the local ‘Western Herd Brewery’ in Kilmaley, Co. Clare. Of course we also have the usual selection of national and international draft beers also to include Guinness, Hop House 13 and Peroni.
Our gin selection includes Hendricks , Gunpowder, Dingle and many others with full range of tonics from Thomas Henry and others.
The Bloody Cranesbill Gastropub displays top quality Irish and international contemporary art with an emphasis on portraiture; we have a great selection of live music with an emphasis on top quality trad. music currently 4 nights/week at 8 p.m. (April 2017) and this will rise to 7 nights /week as we get into summer. Artists currently performer include renowned fiddler Yvonne Casey and accordionist Dermot Byrne on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. Check out our monthly music & entertainment schedule HERE.
